The new trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth puts the spotlight on Sephiroth
Entitled "Destined for Renewal," this trailer unveils a clash between Cloud and his companions, featuring the primary antagonist, Sephiroth.
It also highlights the showdown with the "Terror of the Deep" boss, the Junon Ceremony, and the Nibelheim Incident, offering a first glimpse of recently introduced creatures and characters like Midgardsormr.
The Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy is slated for release on PS5 on February 29, 2024, packaged across two discs and will remain exclusive to Sony's console for at least three months.
The original release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake took place on PS4 in April 2020. An enhanced version of the game, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, premiered on PS5 in June 2021, followed by a PC launch six months later.
Tetsuya Nomura, the creative director of Rebirth, has previously confirmed the conclusion of the second part of the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy.
"While there are changes in the order of locations, the environments depicted in this title extend to The Forgotten Capital, where the most significant destiny of Final Fantasy VII awaits you," he stated in an interview with the PlayStation Blog.
