Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal has been scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch
After the game's release on iOS and Android last year, Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal will be available for Nintendo's console on January 25, 2024.
The standard price will be $29.99/ £19.99/ €24.99, but players who pre-order the game before this month's release will receive a 15% discount.
According to a statement from Feral, "Reprisal" is a completely reworked version of the classic stealth-action game, adapted for screens of any size, featuring a new minimap, Instinct Mode, and gameplay improvements inspired by later games in the series.
"Whether in docked mode or handheld, using classic controls or a modern interface, the assassination sandboxes of Hitman: Blood Money fit perfectly with the Nintendo Switch, like an outfit designed by the latest fashion trends."
Despite IO Interactive's plans to further develop its World of Assassination trilogy within the Hitman franchise, the company announced in March of last year that the next significant part of their most famous franchise is temporarily taking a backseat.
In November 2020, the company revealed the development of an officially licensed James Bond game. With the working title "Project 007," it will present an original origin story for Agent 007.
