The Tekken 8 gameplay trailer features Jun Kazama battling and defeating evil forces

Tekken fans are in for a treat with the announcement of Jun Kazama's return in the upcoming Tekken 8 game. Jun, who is Jin Kazama's mother, will be playable for the first time in a mainline Tekken game since Tekken 2.

The recently released gameplay trailer showcases Jun's mastery of the Kazama-style martial arts, which she uses to purify her opponents of their evil. Of course, this translates to some serious beatdowns in the game.

The trailer also teases a brief reunion between Jun and her former lover Kazuya Mishima, who also happens to be the father and repeat attempted killer of their son, Jin. As expected, it doesn't go smoothly.

The release date for the game is still unknown, but it will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
