Warzone Season 5: Atlas Superstore Returns to Urzikstan — What to Expect!
Activision has announced that the Atlas Superstore point of interest (POI) from the beloved Verdansk map will soon make its return on the Urzikstan map in Season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone. Season 5 is set to kick off on July 24, bringing a wealth of new content to both Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
As Season 4 Reloaded winds down this month, Activision has begun teasing what's to come in Season 5. Scheduled for July 24, the Season 5 update will introduce new limited-time modes, weapons, maps, balance adjustments, and more for both games. Additionally, Season 5 will feature a crossover event between Warzone and WWE.
The official Call of Duty Twitter account confirmed the arrival of Verdansk's Atlas Superstore POI on the Urzikstan map in Warzone Season 5 next week. A new gameplay footage was showcased in a TV ad parody, featuring an Atlas Superstore employee detailing what players can expect at this location. Similar to its Verdansk version, players can parachute onto the roof of the Atlas Superstore in Urzikstan and engage in intense gunfights inside the building. Players can also use ziplines from the outside to access the Superstore, setting traps with claymores and explosives at strategic entry points.
Excitement is brewing among Call of Duty fans on Twitter regarding the return of the Atlas Superstore POI, though some are eagerly awaiting the return of the Verdansk map itself in Warzone. With Atlas Superstore making a comeback, speculation is rife among players that more Verdansk POIs may be integrated into Urzikstan before the iconic Warzone map returns. Leaks suggest Verdansk's return could coincide with the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in 2025.
As Season 5 approaches, Activision is expected to unveil more details soon, including patch notes closer to the update's launch. The Season 5 Reloaded update is anticipated in August, while the upcoming Call of Duty NEXT event will shed light on Black Ops 6 and the future of Warzone. Fans are encouraged to follow the official Call of Duty Twitter account for more gameplay clips and teasers leading up to Season 5's debut next week.
