Images of Lego figures of Knuckles, Shadow, and Rouge have surfaced online for the first time

New Lego Sonic the Hedgehog sets are on the horizon, and we've got our first look at the characters, thanks to the Instagram account 1414falconfan.

Currently, it's unclear in which specific sets these characters will appear, but this signals an upcoming wave of Lego sets from the Sega universe. Following Lego's traditional release dates, these sets are expected to hit the shelves in early January.

In August, four sets were released as part of the Lego Sonic series, including:

1. "Sonic's Green Hill Zone Loop Challenge" – featuring various characters such as Sonic, Amy, Dr. Robotnik, along with numerous animals and Badniks.
2. "Sonic's Speed Sphere Challenge" – with Sonic, springs, arches, trampolines, and other characters and elements.
3. "Tails' Workshop and Tornado Plane" – including Sonic, Tails, their workshop, and the iconic Tornado plane.
4. "Amy's Animal Rescue Island" – with Amy, Tails, various animals, and intriguing elements.

These sets primarily serve as playsets and encourage interaction among them. However, fans have expressed their desire for more complex sets akin to the ones found in the Lego Super Mario Bros. lineup.
