In Fortnite, a streamer has created a unique map called "Barbenheimer," which is inspired by the game Call of Duty
In memory of Barbenheimer, a popular Fortnite streamer created a map inspired by the Nuketown style from the game Call of Duty, blending a pink dream house with a harsh and historical military base.
The name "Barbenheimer" was chosen because a biographical film about physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer and a fantasy comedy about a fashionable doll were both released on the same day (July 21). This caught the attention not only of viewers interested in both films but also Fortnite players. The streamer known as Squatingdog used this popularity and the concept of content crossover in the game to create the "Barbenheimer" map.
The map is divided into two parts. The first half features vibrant and colorful elements such as mini-golf, hills, a Chevrolet Barbie car, and a luxurious mansion. The second half consists of a dusty military base with hangars, watchtowers, radiation warnings, and planes buried in the sand.
Players of Call of Duty will immediately recognize this layout as an homage to Nuketown, and Squatingdog added an intriguing element: "21 kills without death activates a nuclear strike." When a player achieves this feat, a bomb drops, symbolizing a warhead attached to a shining glowing heart.
The "Barbenheimer" map is already available to play in Fortnite using the streamer's island code - 0347-5540-6538 - and promises an exciting experience for all players who choose to explore its spaces.
