Overwatch 2 Season 13 Introduces "Deliverance" – A Mythic Weapon Skin for Soldier: 76

Overwatch 2 has unveiled "Deliverance," a new Mythic weapon skin for Soldier: 76 in Season 13, now available in the Mythic Shop. This premium cosmetic, inspired by the Six Realms of Rebirth in Buddhism, brings four unlockable tiers featuring unique audio-visual effects, HUD elements, and special animations that evolve with the player's killstreak.

This is Overwatch 2’s third Mythic weapon skin, following the "Bound Demon" for Reinhardt in Season 11 and Ana's "Midnight Sun" Biotic Rifle in Season 12. "Deliverance" offers players a haunted Heavy Pulse Rifle that visually evolves as it "hungers" for souls, making for a dynamic in-game experience.

Deliverance – Mythic Weapon Skin Details

• Price: 80 Mythic Prisms or $40
• Tier 1 (50 Prisms): Base weapon skin with unique sound effects and UI elements
• Tier 2 (10 Prisms): Transforming HUD and weapon effects that activate with kills, resetting on death
• Tier 3 (10 Prisms): Weapon flourish – Souls swirl around Soldier: 76’s weapon
• Tier 4 (10 Prisms): Kill effect – Slain enemies erupt into a pillar of blue energy

Like other Mythic skins, "Deliverance" is purchased in stages using Mythic Prisms. The full skin costs a total of 80 Prisms, which players can earn by completing the Premium Battle Pass, or buy outright for $40 in a bundle that includes 20 Battle Pass tier skips.

Although pricey, players who forgo other Season 13 Mythic skins can save Prisms to unlock it. Mythic weapon skins, unlike hero skins, remain available in the Mythic Shop each season, meaning Soldier: 76 fans can still acquire "Deliverance" in Season 14 with new Prisms if needed. However, with the introduction of Mythic Aspects in Season 13 and the ongoing release of Mythic hero and weapon skins, players may find themselves needing to carefully manage their Mythic Prisms each season to keep up with these premium additions.
