Fortnite Crew Pack Changes and January 2025 Skin Reveal
FortniteFortnite fans will be intrigued to learn that one of the NPCs from the Chapter 6 Season 1 island is featured as the skin in the January 2025 Crew Pack. This monthly subscription service, known as the Fortnite Crew Pack, underwent significant changes in December, leaving some players hesitant about renewing their membership.
Previously, Crew Pack subscribers could claim the Battle Pass for free or receive a refund if they already purchased it. However, with the new policy, refunds are only available if the Battle Pass was purchased within the last 14 days. Furthermore, if players access the Battle Pass via the Crew Pack and later cancel their subscription, they will no longer be able to claim rewards.
Many players took advantage of the old system by subscribing to the Crew Pack just before the end of a Battle Pass season, earning a refund, and then securing the next season's Battle Pass for free. While not against Fortnite’s rules, this method is no longer feasible with the updated subscription model. Although the revamped Crew Pack now offers access to multiple passes simultaneously, it eliminates the ability to effectively get two passes for the price of one. Despite this, for players who remain subscribed monthly, the new structure offers greater overall value.
The skin included in the Crew Pack often determines whether players decide to subscribe, and the January 2025 Crew Pack has now been revealed. The featured skin is Durrr Taisho, a sushi-themed, Durrr Burger-inspired character. This unique cosmetic will be available starting December 31, 2024, at 7:00 PM ET.
What Is the January 2025 Fortnite Crew Pack Skin?

Players familiar with the sushi restaurant in Seaport City may recognize Durrr Taisho as one of the NPCs on the Battle Royale island. Durrr Taisho offers services such as activating a Rift-to-Go and selling items like Surgefire SMGs and Medkits. This unusual skin fits well with the Hunters theme of the season.
It’s important to note that Fortnite Crew Pack cosmetics, including Durrr Taisho, are exclusive to subscribers and cannot be purchased later. Players who skip the January Crew Pack will miss the opportunity to add this skin to their collection.
