The Chinese Stealth Armor is located at Hoover Dam, the central hub of conflict in the game, situated to the east of Boulder City. To reach Hoover Dam, follow the roads leading out of Boulder City, where signs will guide you. Since the dam is under NCR control, ensure you are on good terms with the NCR or wear a disguise to move freely around the area.

Entering the Hoover Dam Offices

The entrance to Hoover Dam is on its western side. Enter through the visitor center and use either the stairs or the elevator to descend into Hoover Dam Power Plant 01. Avoid the power plant floor and find the door on the left to access the Hoover Dam Offices.

Locating the Radioactive Waste Room

The Hoover Dam Offices are a maze of corridors and small rooms. High-ranking NCR leaders may be present if you are far along in the main story, so be cautious as they can see through your disguise if your reputation with the NCR is low. From where you start, walk straight ahead, then turn clockwise to the right.

At the end of the corridor, you’ll find a room marked with radiation warnings on the right. Inside, two sets of Chinese Stealth Armor are hidden in wooden crates to the left of the radioactive barrels. Taking the armor will be considered stealing, and it may be confiscated if you are caught by the NCR while pilfering their supplies.

Repairing the Stealth Armor

To maintain the Chinese Stealth Armor, you can use one set to repair the other. Alternatively, you can use Recon Armor, available for purchase at Gun Runners or Hidden Valley. Additionally, any light armor can be used for repairs if you have the Jury Rigging perk.
