Ukrainian streamer Ghostik raises 10 million UAH to support the Azov Brigade through the ORCFALL charity event
Ukrainian Dota 2 streamer Andriy "Ghostik" Kadyk has raised 10 million UAH to support the Azov Brigade in just over three weeks. The charity event was called ORCFALL, which refers to this year's Dota 2 event called Crownfall. The aim of the campaign was to provide Azov fighters with electronic warfare (EW) equipment against enemy drones, as well as the drones themselves.
During the fundraiser, participants had the opportunity to win valuable prizes from partners, including promotional codes, boxes of energy drinks, board games, tickets to performances, Anda Seat chairs and Logitech devices. In addition, for a donation of UAH 300, participants could get an exclusive monobank card.
A special prize awaited those who contributed UAH 10,000 - a Ukrainian flag signed by David Kasatkin, a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign Khimik.
The plot of the campaign was based on the story of the Dota 2 hero, the Dragon Knight, who knows the importance of a shield and sword in battle. He travels from city to city, where he discovers new stories and achievements of the Ukrainian military.
