BIG Academy Bolsters Lineup with pr1metapz and MRC9: Completing Roster Transition
The German academy team, BIG Academy, has solidified its roster with the addition of Luca "pr1metapz" Voigt and Marc "MRC9" Philipp Jarke. This move follows the promotions of David "prosus" Hesse and Elias "s1n" Stein to the main roster, as well as the departure of Efekan "S3NSEY" Topaloglu.
BIG Academy has demonstrated its success in nurturing talent for the main team, with three current BIG members originating from their youth project. Karim "Krimbo" Moussa has been representing the team since March 2022, while s1n and prosus were elevated during the recent off-season. The current BIG Academy AWPer, Marcel "hyped" Köhn, also had a five-month stint with BIG before making way for new signing Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski.
pr1metapz is a familiar face within the BIG organization, having been part of their academy roster in 2022 and competing in two seasons of the WePlay Academy League. BIG Academy secured third place in the inaugural season and fourth in the second, with pr1metapz maintaining an average rating of 0.95 during his time with the organization. After his tenure with BIG Academy, he played for two domestic teams, namely Sissi State Punks and SNOGARD Dragons, before making his return to BIG Academy.
MRC9 is relatively unknown outside of the German scene. He previously played for Sissi State Punks but departed from the team in December 2021. Since then, he has featured in only a handful of games for EPIC DUDES, maintaining an average rating of 1.14 in 2023.
The updated roster for BIG Academy is as follows:
- Tom "skyye" Hagedorn (Germany)
- Luc "ArroW" Oehmke (Germany)
- Marcel "hyped" Köhn (Germany)
- Luca "pr1metapz" Voigt (Germany)
- Marc "MRC9" Philipp Jarke (Germany)
Tugay "TuGuX" Keskin will continue to serve as the team's coach.
